Rohan Walks!

Actually, Rohan took his first truly independent steps yesterday. He's a few weeks overdue in realizing that he actually COULD let go, but we proud parents are easy to please!

Happy Birthday Rohan!

It's already been 1 year. People said it would go fast, and it did. But we wouldn't change it for the world. Rohan has blossomed into a sweet, relaxed, loving child, and we're soaking up every moment of joy with him.

Naps are key

After a tiring day on the slopes, it's completely understandable that Rohan gets tired and enjoys his naps. Daddy thought it was a good idea to nap too!

Getting ready for the snow

Rohan got to enjoy some quality time in Vail and Whistler over the last few weeks and he loved every minute of it! We had to make sure he stayed warm so he got into his cozy outfit and was ready for the slopes.

Rohan loved the ride in the peak-to-peak Gondola between Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain. It was a breathtaking view!

Rohan in Ski Gear

Rohan decided he was jealous about Daddy's recent ski trip so he decided to wear Daddy's ski boots and start getting his ski-legs ready to go!
Rohan also donned Daddy's helmet and goggles just to see how it feels.

Fresh Powder

Anand got to enjoy some great snow and ski conditions in Canada over the last several days. The powder was deep and it snowed every single day to add a fresh 1-2 feet to the already huge snow base.

Rohan Can Stand!

It has been quite the exiting start to 2009 for Rohan... On January 2nd Rohan crawled his first steps forward. On January 6th Rohan stood up all by himself! Mommy and Daddy couldn't be more proud of our little boy. He's growing up so fast!

Rohan Meets Blue Man Group

Rohan got to meet the Blue Man Group in Vegas and after being freaked out for a few minutes, he warmed up to them. Check out the blue velor outfit he sported while in Vegas!

Lilee in Vegas

It was Lilee's first trip to Vegas and she got to experience it in style with limo rides, red carpet treatment at the Palms, sneaking into Ghost Bar to take in the view of the strip from the 52nd story, and spending time in the world famous M&M factory. Lilee is now the proud owner of an over-sized red M&M stuffed toy, an M&M t-shirt, M&M socks, an M&M monkey that says "I Love Chocolate", an M&M mug, an M&M deck of cards, and naturally lots of M&Ms!

New Years in Vegas

We had quite the NYE celebration in Las Vegas!! It was a great way to ring in the New Year and prepare for what will be an exciting and exhausting 2009! Rohan wishes everyone the very best for a great 2009!

Rohan decided that he would start off the new year in style with a long bath in the very large jacuzzi tub in our Penthouse Suite at the Palms.

Rohan also decided he would crawl forward for the very first time on January 2nd!! He likes to stick his tongue out when he's concentrating... and boy, does he like to concentrate when crawling forward. Mommy and Daddy were quite proud to see their little guy crawl his first steps forward.
